The Funeral Consultancy is a Leicester based social enterprise specialising in helping people with all issues surrounding the funeral and bereavement. For telephone callers we offer a free nationwide information and advice service. Regardless of which funeral director you choose to make the formal arrangements, The Funeral Consultancy serves to help you create a funeral which is beautiful and meaningful and allows you to say farewell in your own way. We can also assist in putting your affairs in order, making difficult and important decisions and advising you about the choices available. For people who are recently bereaved we offer counselling and a monthly bereavement support group. For health and social care groups or any organisatons who have contact with the bereaved, we provide quality training courses and seminars in understanding and caring for the bereaved. Amongst Friends Bereavement Support is our wonderful new support group for people who have recently experienced a bereavement through cancer. We meet monthly for lunch and from time to time for other social activities.
